By car

On the motorway follow the signs for the airport "Flughafen Düsseldorf". You will automatically exit onto the A 44 motorway.

• Exit at "Düsseldorf Flughafen" (exit no. 31).
• Follow the signs for "Ankunft/Airport City".
• Before reaching the P3 airport carpark, turn left towards Airport City.
• In the traffi c circle take the third exit.
• Follow this street until you reach the next traffi c circle, then take the fi rst exit to Peter-Müller-Straße. Stay on this street and then turn right at the Porsche Zentrum Düsseldorf. Before the next curve in the road you will see the VDI building on the right side.
• As our guest parking facilities at the VDI building are limited during major events, you also have the alternative of parking in the P8 carpark of the airport: after exiting the second traffi c circle, take the fi rst right and drive into the P8 carpark. From here it is only a short walk to VDI-Platz. Walk straight on between the P8 carpark and the Maritim Hotel. Behind the hotel go to the right. On your left you will see the VDI building.

Navigation

In your navigation system select "Airport" under "Point of interest" and then select "Düsseldorf: Terminal B" From there follow the directions under "By car" above.

The VDI building is situated on VDI-Platz, which is not yet recognised by satellite navigation systems. Alternatively you can select "P8" as your destination under POI "Airport Düsseldorf".

By train

The Düsseldorf airport From the station, take Terminal C of the airport. train stops at the underground beneath Terminal C.

• SkyTrain

You can enter the Maritim Hotel directly from the station in Terminal C. Walk through the hotel and exit through the door that is directly across from the VDI building.

• S-Bahn # 7

On the platform in Terminal C follow the exit sign for "Ausgang Abflug/Ankunft" and go left towards "Flughafen Verwaltung" (airport administration). The Maritim Hotel is situated across from the exit. Walk straight on between the P8 carpark and the Maritim Hotel. Behind the hotel go to the right. On your left you will see the VDI building.

By bus

The "Flughafenverwaltung" bus stop of the # 721 bus line is right on Peter-Müller-Straße. When you get off the bus you will see the VDI building on your left. Other bus lines stop at the bus station in front of the main arrivals area of Terminal C at the airport. From there it is only a short walk (see directions under S-Bahn # 7). The following bus lines stop here:

• # 760 from/to Ratingen-Ost/Wittlaer-Bockum
• # SB51 from/to Kaarst main station
